******* – An Update – *******
Loddon AGM 2021
Cancelled and EGM to be arranged.
All DAs and Regions have received the following information from Headquarters regarding Unit AGMS due to be held between 1 February 2021 and 30 April 2021
In relation to all Club Units, we are asking that all AGMs due to be held between 1 February and 30 April 2021, be held virtually.
We appreciate that Notices of your AGMs have been included in the Club magazine, stating a date, time and venue. We ask that the date and time remain the same, but that the meeting be held virtually.
You will need to communicate this out to your members via your usual channels, and we will include a piece in the February and March magazine to highlight that all AGMs will be held virtually, and not at the venue listed, but on the same date and at the same time.
As Loddon DA at this point in time has no Committee and the Southern Region are managing the DA, further advice was sought from HQ. Southern Region could not hold an AGM and were advised not to hold an EGM virtually and to wait until we could hold a face to face meeting.
This will be carried out as soon as we are advised that we can hold a face to face meeting of members.
Southern Region are aware of the concern of all Loddon members regarding this delay, but as we are concerned with the welfare of all Club members in these challenging times. We await the go ahead to arrange an EGM to elect a New Committee for Loddon DA and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible to find the way forward for Loddon DA.
